Steven Bennett, PHD
Founder, Chief Scientific Officer

A leading expert in cannabinoid research, processing and product development, Dr. Bennett is a molecular biologist with a background in neurodegenerative disease, opiate receptors and melanoma. He holds two patents and four provisional patents and has published a series of peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Bennett has a PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and a BS in Biochemistry from Eckerd College. 


Michael Hammer
Chief of Staff

Michael previously worked in the higher education space, where he helped leading universities and academic medical centers leverage technology to manage change, optimize organizational design, and improve service delivery. Michael has a BSM in Finance and a BA in Latin American Studies from Tulane University.


John Streicher, PhD
Scientific Director

Dr. Streicher has a range of research experience, with current research focus on signal transduction and molecular pharmacology at the opioid and cannabinoid receptors. He is an assistant professor in the Dept of Pharmacology in the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona. Dr. Streicher has degrees from George Fox University, Oregon Health and Science University, and the University of California Los Angeles.


Darryl Hudson, phd

Dr. Hudson has worked in the cannabis sector for many years, drawing on his extensive research experience in cultivation, extraction, formulation and analytical testing. He has consulted globally on aspects of the cannabis sector and is widely published in diverse fields, including plant biology/genetics, DNA repair, epigenetics, cancer and cannabis. Dr. Hudson earned his PhD at The University of Guelph.



Dr. Boyd is a faculty research instructor within the Rocky Mountain Alzheimer’s Disease Center Laboratory of Dr. Huntington Potter and within the Department of Neurology and the Institute for Down Syndrome at The University of Colorado. Blending his scientific and business acumen, Dr. Boyd holds science degrees from The University of South Florida and is nearing completion of his MBA from The University of Colorado.



Dr. Price is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine through the Department of Internal Medicine at McMaster University. For the past eight years, he has been a leader in the clinical application of natural pain solutions and Cannabinoid therapeutics. Dr. Price is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons trained in Emergency Medicine and has an MD from McMaster University.
